Tommy Lee-1-819x1024Thomas Lee Bass, a Greek-American musician who was also the founding member Motley Crue's heavy-metal band, is an American-Greek-American musician. Lee Bass is also the band's long-term drummer, and co-founded Methods of Mayhem, an rapper group. Lee has also been involved in his own musical projects. Lee supports PETA as well as animal rights. In 2010 Lee sent a letter to Terry Prather, the president of SeaWorld protesting the treatment given to Tilikum the orca. Lee believed that the animal should be released. He also stated that SeaWorld would not comply since Tilikum is their main source of the sperm. Lee expressed his displeasure and was disgusted by SeaWorld's ill-conceived and untrue methods to obtain Tilikum Sperm. Lee stated that he wanted to avoid tragedies similar to trainers' deaths as this was due to the whales' inability to be kept in captivity.
