They also built a solid working relationship which resulted in a long-lasting partnership. It was Fusari who gave her her stage name, Lady Gaga, in honour of the song Radio Gaga by Queen, one of her favorite bands. Akon, a well-known event host, Akon, who already had a connection with Lady Gaga as her songwriter was able to hear her singing and decided to offer her a contract through his record label, Kon Live Distribution. Gaga was delighted to accept the contract. Lady Gaga became a singer after her performance.
