Anamaria Marinca, born in Romania, is an actress. She debuted on the big screen on Sex Traffic by Channel 4, for which it was the British Academy Television Award was awarded to the best actress. The film also earned two awards in addition, it was awarded the Cinema Prize of French National Education System (FIPRESCI Prize) as well as the Cinema Prize. Youth Without Youth by Francis Ford Coppola was another film in which she appeared. She played Yasim Awar in BBC's 5-episode The Last Enemy miniseries. Marinca appeared as Yasim Anwar in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven, and also in the Romanian film Boogie. She appeared as Irma in Fury 2014 in which she portrayed an German name aunt of Emma.
