Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell (nee Robertson; born March 27 1970. Height 5' 9 is a American actress who is known for her role in the role of The Dr. Juliet Burke on ABC's TV series Lost and as FBI agents Erica Evans on V. Mitchell is the oldest of three sisters, the other of whom are Kristina Helen Kristie Mitchell, and Katherine Day Kate Mitchell. Mitchell earned an associate degree in acting studies at Stephens College in 1991. She also studied at British American Drama Academy. Mitchell was a part of the Dallas Theater Center for six years. Her most prominent role is currently the role of the role of Special Agent Emily Prentiss on the CBS crime drama Criminal Minds. On June 2010, it was announced that her Criminal Minds role would be reduced to half in the sixth-season. Brewsters' character left the series on March 2011, and may come back to the show when she is older.
