Young and extremely successful singer-songwriter she is already one of history's best selling artists. Born in Barbados, she was able to love reggae and started singing in the midst of her childhood. When she was disturbed by the chaotic nature of her home life, and her constant battles with her father she became immersed with music. In the end, she realized that she was on the right track to be a professional. While in high school she formed a band and auditioned for Evan Rodgers. Evan Rodgers was amazed by her talent. The girl relocated from the city of her birth to New York to start a professional singing career full-time. Her debut album quickly went viral and was described as the next big thing in music. The young crowd was captivated by her enthralling songs that made them tap their feet, and this brought her into the world of film.
